About OVR
Developed by a technical team with 8 years of AR technology development, marketing, and commercial design experience, OVR is a decentralized AR platform powered by Ethereum Blockchain, aiming to seamlessly unite the real world and the virtual world through the adoption of augmented reality (AR) technology. Anyone with a mobile device or smart glasses is able to have an interactive, augmented reality experience tailored to his/her current GPS position in the real world.
The platform is a digital layer composed of 1.6 trillion unique hexagons called OVR land each mapping to real-world locations. In other words, each OVR land is a spatial domain name (i.e., OVR Land NFT) of type ERC-721 that can be purchased using an IBCO issued OVR token.

After the first environment scan and storage, OVR's ability to reload the environment map allows users to obtain a shared experience to see virtual elements appearing on the same OVR land in the same way.
● OVR geolocation and tracking
GPS data can report the user's geographic coordinates, but it is not enough to accurately locate AR content. On the basis of GPS, OVR uses computer vision algorithm technology (SIFT/SURF technology) to calculate the accurate location coordinates of the device and uses the local high-precision SLAM technology to anchor the content, optimize the approximate location provided by GPS, so as to achieve more precise geographic positioning.

● Social field
Telepresence on smartphones has been realized, thereby achieving the popularization of cutting-edge AR technology. Just take a selfie and upload it, and OVR will create a realistic 3D avatar. Users can interact with avatars in virtual locations and have immersive chats;
● Medical field
Presently, OVR is cooperating with Ketamine One, which is dedicated to helping solve the growing need for safe and accessible mental health therapy, to develop a VR scent platform to help improve the treatment effect of patients;
